First post... Looking for some insight. I'm gonna debadge my truck this weekend. All the lettering and the front grill emblem. My buddy has a ton of plasti-dip that i could use. For a Black Truck, should I just leave de-badged? Or Debadge--PlastiDip all emblems and then Rebadge the emblems back on? Someone has had to have seen one around, tried looking on the site for a black on black badging and couldnt find.

You can plasti dip your emblems while still on the truck. Search the forum, there are write ups for it.

If u like it, keep it. If not, peel it off or take the entire badge off.

If you decide to keep them off hit me up. I'm looking to buy a full set of badges and I'll pay for shipping obviously. Thanks

Debadge the front emblem? That'll leave the grill with the emblem mounting holes showing. Do you mean debadge everything and then paint the front emblem? Personally to answer your question, I like contrast. I like dark emblems on light trucks, but for dark trucks, I like em completely debadged. Unless you use white plastidip? That would probably look odd, so you might as well keep it chrome. I vote for all debadge, except front, obviously.
