Is everything backwards in Canada?!?

It's one thing to use the metric system, but you also calculate fuel consumption using quantity over a fixed distance instead of distance per fixed quantity??? INSANE!!!

(Just kidding -- Not only do I love Canada, but I can't believe the US still isn't using metric...though I honestly didn't know fuel consumption was calculated differently though).

Averaged over 2 years of fill-ups, my 4x4 DC/LB auto uses 12.04liters/100km. A bit worse in the winter, a bit better in the summer.

My average mpg (Imperial) has been 23-24 which is a range of about 650-700 kms per tank if ran dry.

Best mileage recorded was 27 mpg and the worst was 11.5 when towing.

I average 20.1 MPG (IMP) running Esso And Shell Premium fuels since supercharging. I seem to get about 19 running shell and 22 running Esso. I need more data to confirm that however.

Running non-ethanol fuel gets much better mileage I found. How ever in Alberta in order to get non ethanol you need to run premium, Shell or Esso.
