I have Sport alloy wheels...I believe I saw a thread here that noted these need to be modified to use on the 17" Sport wheels?

No modifications necessary, just pop of the stock and pop in the new.

When i put them on the 17's on my 2012 i found them a little loose, i could pull them off with my bare hands. The 6 tabs that hold them into place on the TRD caps don't stick out as far as the tabs on the factory ones. I just put a few pieces of foam tape inside the caps between the spring and the tab to make the tab stick out farther. Now they are locked into place pretty solid, i need a screwdriver to pop them out like the factory caps
