Eibachs are good, and of course OME 885's.

I'd go with OME, but that's my personal preference.

If you really want to go with the billies then I would get the eibachs as they are designed to work together. If it doesn't have to be billies then I would go with the ome coils and ome shocks.

How much lift do you want out of this setup? If you want over 2", I'd go OME 885's over preloading the Eibachs. 2" dead on and you're looking at OME 884's. If you only want the 1.5" lift, then you're stuck deciding between OME 883's and Eibachs.

I don't think 883's are for 2nd gen. I have 884's on my v6 dclb and I got just under 2" of lift, after I did the aal in the rear. Prior to the aal it was a little over 2" and it looked nose high with my stock 4 leaf pack. I was in the same spot your in a few months ago. The eibach/billy combo looks more appealing because you can get front and rear shocks foe the price of just the front ome's. I a very happy with the choice I made and went with ome because I thought the spring rate of the eibach would make the front too stiff.

883's work fine for 2nd Gens. They'll give you around 1.5" of lift for a V6. You're correct through, I don't think they're specifically for 2nd Gens but they do work and it's been done. The 883's are the same spring rate as the 884's and 885's, just a little shorter so you don't get as much lift.

    I'm running 885s with 5100s and it's great.
