I have 1100 miles on my new Tacoma TRD OffRoad and so far 16.7 local driving with a/c on about 70% this last two weeks.

I live in the gas modification capital of the world, California, but am hitting the road north tomorrow to Portland and will do a section between Sacramento and Redding at 60 with a/c off and cruise on.

I moved from a large 3/4 ton GMC that got 13 - 15. Mileage is not my focus, however like to know how different driving conditions affect the truck. Also that seems to be the second question I get so far, right after, when you get ready to sell it, I wanna buy it.

Ok, on my trip from the bay area in California to Portland, ran from 16.7 at first and then 17.8 to the best has been 19.4. Looks like those numbers are about the average.

I have been driving 60 - 70 with a/c on, so compared to 13- 15 in my GMNC am pretty happy. Seems like there is a lot of word out there that Toyota has to increase it's mileage on the trucks, but for me it's fine. Not going to spend much on trying to improve as each change buys a lot of gas.

It's a less efficient fuel. Which means the more you add, the more fuel you'll have to buy. To me, adding ethanol to gasoline is like pouring water in your drink-makes the liquor go a lot farther but the customers are unhappy :)

Not to forget, it eats seals and what not meaning you'll end up with expensive motor work sooner or later. And lastly, if you own a motorcycle or other vehicle that you don't drive much, that blend will gum up the carbs quicker than you could imagine.

You definitely didn't read that here. The kn intake will make you louder and that's about it, don't get one. Same with any of the other cai type intake systems.

Can't claim anything, bought from Fish08 and leaving it like it sits. Perfect!
My third fill up, 25K and I'm getting a little over 17mpg. I was at 300 w/ the gas light on and made to the GS at 320miles  I was getting nervous.
