Offroads have the chrome, sports have it colored. Get some oempaint, spray that sucker down! Looks nice though.

    Just the basics
Perfect. This is my goal as well, black and Gray. What did those wheels set you back? Do you have a color matched grill? If so, where and how much was it?
    Thanks.

The wheels mounted and balanced with black lugnuts were $700 from 4wheelparts. The grill is color matched sport grill from local Toyota dealer. It was about $200 but i get a small discount through my work.

Good idea, but then the bumper will look out of place and then the side step and then the badges. I'd have to do them all!! LOL!! Why does everyone not like their chrome stuff anyways?

Badges would still look fine. No idea about everyone else - but I think removing all chrome looks super clean.

So last week I installed King's coilovers up front and shocks in the rear and took it out for a shakedown run on saturday. I went with my friend who i have wheeled with extensively all over Colorado and Moab. I would recommended ridding shotgun up hells gate to any thrillseaker. The suspension preformed awesome, lightyears better than stock. This is my 4th tacoma and 1st 2nd gen. Best tacoma yet. Enought chat, here are the pics

I have bud built skids on their way but I am far from done. Not sure about the next step. Already done sliders, skids, and set up for a lift. I am thinking..

    TC a-arms

Alcan leafs in the rear with a 2" lift

ARB or AllPro plate bumper... still undecided + winch

AllPro rear plate when it comes out.

Wheels - something aluminum, black, 16", simple design. Mojave's maybe.

Tires - I would like 285/75 BFG KM2s but not sure about that on a 2" lift.
Need to read more about that or you peeps can throw in your opinion.

Hope you dig... more knarly colorado trails to come. AND don't give me crap for wheeling with a jeep, after 4 years of wheeling shotgun in that bulletproof thing i still went with a toyota so you all know where my roots are at :)

So how would you MG owners say your color fares against dirt, scratches, etc. Always had my eye set on Silver Streak (looking to buy an 09 soon) but damnit if the MG isnt a sweet color. I love the graphite look on vehicles, but wonder how it would hold up in comparison to the silver which does so well.

    Sweet rigs fellas.

fares VERY bad against scratches, not as bad as black.

Mine is scratched all over now.

White is best against scratches, followed by silver.

For dirt it's not bad, not as good as silver but better than black

Love the white...but figured it wouldnt carry the dirty look to well here in the midwest. I dont plan on having the truck showroom clean all the time...but I do know how good the silver always seems to look whether dirty or clean.
