Instrument Cluster Back Light

Is there anyway to change the color of the back lighting? Im really sick of this orange color.

 

Sure.

Disassemble the cluster, and the stereo, and the AC controls, and the dash pushbuttons.

Unsolder the teeny surface mount LED chips from the cluster and the stereo and replace them with teeny surface mount red/white/blue/green LED chips, then replace the amber filters in the rest of the parts with whatever color filter you need (the switches and AC controls are lamps, not LED).

It's a major project.

Not cheaper, but easier to just trade the '07 in on a '12

Look at it this way... you could have bought a Ford and then you'd have a truck worth only half as much as the Tacoma.
