My front drive line as a zerk in both ujoints. I can't quite get the tip of my grease gun on either of them. What kind of adapter do I need, and also how often should I grease these? They are the only zerks I can find under my new ride, and I didn't expect to find them when I was looking under the thing just to have a look ....

if you use a flexible line you should be able to slide it inbetween the joint

Rotate the shaft so you can get a better angle at it.

Take off the small heat shield using 12mm ratchet on the 2 bolts. You be able to put the grease gun nozzle on it as easily as the rear zerks. Put the heat shield back on when finished. Adds 60 seconds additional time to the project but will prevent 3 high powered swear words.

NAPA has a couple of grease couplers that are a thinner profile that fit.

I bought a flexible line for my grease gun (the ONLY way to go) and rotate the drive shaft by hand and I havent had any trouble getting to them.
