Want to shorten exhaust pipe

Jesus after almost a whole hour of sawing I finally got it off! BUT now I notice my flowmaster doesn't sound as loud anymore

 

Heres some pics! much cleaner and does a tip make that much of a difference?

I see trucks all the time with stock tips and theres are loud af

 

My 40 series got really quiet when I chopped mine too. Got meeself a 10 series with a resonated tip now because I could bearly hear the 40 after dumping it.

 

You think it will sound bad with a stock exhaust??

As for sound you could still throw the tip on as well to get the sound

just did mine today aswell but it did make it quieter "/ owell..... less cop magnet
