What all will I have to trim, shave etc. would I be better off stock with stock size tires? I want to get a 285 you're and 18 inch rims if its possible without major modification. I don't want to lift the truck.

this has been covered on several threads, do a search, you will find a lot of info. if you ask people questions like this, on things that have been beaten to death, they are more likely to be assholes to you. skim through the tires and wheels folder. hope this helps. Good lookin' truck you got there, i like your bull bar!

Look in the thread "what have you done to your tacoma today" I'm not sure what page, between 10-30, there is someone in there with 285s on stock suspension.

Yea I figured someone would give me Shit but I had a reason for reposting. BC the discount tire fella said I wouldn't need to trim much...and I was asking what exactly id be trimming or chopping or screwing up on my truck. I think ill just stick with the 265.

Here is my 37's at full stuff and full wheel lock without any rubbing. I think I could fit 40's on an x runner pretty easy. The trick is to get a BFH and a sawzall and man up.

Wth. Looks like it'll take a fender off any minute. I'm not a fan of cutting my new truck. Lol
