    Hi guys,

The question: is there any reason why the (bed extender) Strap Latch Kit for a Tundra would not work on a new Taco?

I tried to search for this but their are quite a few bed extender posts to sift through... Sorry if this has been brought up before.

I bought an OEM bed extender on Craig's, it came with the tailgate straps but no strikers / pins.

Amp Research has a Strap latch kit on Amazon pretty cheap but it's listed for a Tundra. I can't really imagine that the hardware is any different but I just thought I'd throw it out before I bought.

    Thanks guys

Here's how I mounted my custom bed extender with both catch pins and stainless wire latches. Both work and I have inadvertently had one or the other disconnected, but still have all my stuff!

My custom version of the bed extender:
