    back to bone stock.
man, i love my truck. i got 21.8 mpg coming home with a heavy truck. going 70mph. about 20mpg going there, more uphills.

i have an access cab, but i managed to squeeze three hunters in for daily runs to secret spots. our trucks can do amazing things in 2WD. i was so tired one evening, i was crawling up a super steep, rocky grade. my brother commented on how smooth my 4WD was..i looked, i was still in 2WD. slow and steady on the gas pedal was the key.

i took my truck down a rough road, some local promised held elk. i pinstriped my sides with the narrow passage. that needed 4x4!! it got hairy at times.

in the end, my truck inhaled about a lb of dust, and just about flattened every bug with the grill and radiator...got it home, detailed it and changed every filter plus the oil. i havent waxed it in years..it looks good.

    i think i made a good purchase.

sounds like it was amazing....i think these trucks are way undervalued for what they are actually capable of...just proves that a midsize can be more useful than a full size

I'll be doing the same in 6 weeks for season 3 in Colorado. Hope I have a similar experience.
