Def show them the comparison photos of the good arms vs. yours............cuz obviously no one looked over the "certified" truck....... whatever that means .

They should atleast swap out the arms with the good ones you are getting for no charge.

Actually he would have to wait for shipping & still pay. If he has a warranty he should come out with no money out of his pocket.

I dont think GM would certify a toyota, what you got was a normal used car warranty. They have to make vehicle safe. Good catch by Large. I never noticed on first run.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
I think the only thing they can certify is: "Yep, that's a Toyota alright! "

Im assuming because the UCA were sliced, and your missing your orginal wheels the original owner may have had bigger tires on the vehicle. How many miles are on vehicle? Plus, any reputable dealer will want to make this right, I would have them take the whole lift off the truck.

Wasn't there a guy that grinded/cut his UCAs not long ago so he can fit 35s or 37s with no lift and everyone told him to get it fix? Not sure where the thread went but could this be the same vehicle?

I remember that guy. But it looks like a different truck to me. This guy bought his like this. The other guy was a child (17 yoa). And he argued how he was right the entire time:rolleyes:

I would agree that the previous owner had bigger tires. Get them to take all that spacer crap off. Then have them either replace the ucas or ask for the moneys and buy after market

Bingo! Yeah, not the same. All I remember is that it was a 2nd gen.

Glad you guys caught that mess for OP and good to hear he will be getting free set of UCAs if dealership isn't willing to fix it.

I looked at the carfax before I bought it, it was a local truck here in Florida from new. The one in the other thread looks like in CA.

Yeah man, try and get that fixed ASAP. I would be worried to drive it there. If you can get them to flatbed it i would try that route
