    Too few to list.
Try going the cheaper route first with replacing the OEM's with braided SS to stiffen up the brake feel.

S/S brake lines would be the icing on the cake(part of the upgrade for sure). My brakes fade badly and just don't stop under hard braking. I do have slightly larger tires but they were about the same with the stock tires. The real problem is that I'm used to track car brakes. I have an extra set of Stoptech 6 pot calipers that I think I will try to match up. It is just a lot of cash to strap on the old Toyota truck.
The problem with this solution is that I'll probably have go to a larger diameter wheel(18" min)and of course larger tires as well. I was hoping to find a big set of brakes off of the Tundra(bolt on) that would fit under the 16's and would be relatively cheap. Maybe go to a wrecking yard, etc..

I probably just drive too fast and then expect them to save me as on my track car..
Can you tell me what compound on the Hawks?

Are you still running stock tires?

For me even with the stock tires I felt the brakes were very good.

Now that I have some duratracs on stopping is way better.

Ive been thinking about putting some real brakes on my truck as well, partly for fun and partly for when im towing. Trd sells a kit for the fj which is a rebadged stoptech 332 mm kit. They don't list it for the Tacoma due to the fj having rear disc instead of drums. If I remember correctly, when I looked into it a year or so ago the fj and taco share the same front calipers, rotors etc so they should bolt right up.

Will they fit under the 16" alloys?
Does the FJ come with 16" or 17" wheels?
