Hey guys, I am looking to get a wider stance look in resemblance to a LT. I do not want to get long travel because A.) I don't have the money and B.) I do not want to give up my 4x4. I would also like to get some fiberglass fenders down the road. I have seen some pics of Taco's with wider fenders but no wheel width and it looks ridiculous. Are there wheel spacers out that could do this for me and if so, is it safe? Or should I just stop crying get LT?

Spidertrax has 1.25 inch wheel spacers. All pro has 1.5 inch if I remember correctly.

you do not need to lose 4x4 to be LT there are a few guys on here that have it. Second if you dont want to spend the money I wouldn't get it, It is a money pit but the performance is worth it IMO. You are in NH I dont for see you using LT much out there so I would just go with the look. You are going to run into rubbing issues if you just simply put 1.25" spacers on you will need a lift and to cut your fenders as well or get fiberglass. You can get the look for a few hundred bucks versus thousands for LT that you probably wont use where you live.

Is your passengers side wheel sticking out more than the drivers side?

That's common with our tacos. I made a thread about it last year some time. Turns out, a lot of people's passenger wheel sticks out.

    Never even noticed. LOL

I REALLY had to look closely to see the difference though.

Thanks for the reply's guys. The Traveler, I have the same spacers as you and our stance is practically the same and I do love it. I was just curious to know if there were spacers out there wider then 1.25" and if there is, is it safe? Say I found a 2" spacer, what would be the downfalls to a setup like that. I didn't even think of the wheel back spacing and I will start to look into that also. Again, thank you guys for the reply's.

The wider the wheel spacer, the more chance of stuff going horribly wrong. I actually HATE the fact that I have to run these, but it's either this or grind my calipers...which I'm not going to do.

I would never consider anything wider than 1.25" especially if you're planning on off-roading at all. All of the weight of the truck will be depending on how strong that spacer is.

MotorSports Tech can make them up to 5 inches. I have some of their inch spacers to enable me to use tire chains on the front. Made in Reno NV on American made CNC machines.

X2 my step dad owns an offroad shop. Ive asked him about wheel spacers and his response was no. lol its better to be safe then sorry. Also puts stress in other places which increases wear and tear. Ex. Wheel bearings.

    ^ this.

    Added stress.

Think that you are putting the stress point over 2" past the stock location. It can cause many bad things to happen. Your studs for one are not strong enough to handle it.
