No WAY....not when you use your truck on the beach and sand gets all over .

weathertechs with carpet would be a joke in my truck.

with the all weather flooring, I just remove the mats at the end of a day of fishing and 2 mins with my wet/dry vac and it's good as new !

What about road noise is it louder than with carpet? funny thing is I'm old enough to remember when this was standard and carpet was an option on trucks.

i suppose maybe you could just install this over carpet? may fit real tight though.

My 2013 OR has a very quiet ride with the all weather flooring, very little if any road noise at all. I think there is an insulation or something underneath which probably helps.

Dealer assured me that there is insulation in the form of a stiff foam pad under the flooring...
I test drove with/without prior to ordering mine...no noticeable difference in cabin noise

So is this offered as an option for any double cab Tacoma now? I am going to be intensely looking for a 2013 double cab this weekend and if this can be added I wanna go ahead and do it. Much less hassle if i was to spill something and less worry when returning from camping and rain/mud arise. I'm looking through the USAA car buying service and didn't seem to see it listed (only saw all weather mats)

I did find black molded vinyl flooring for 05-09 reg cab for 113.95 on the link below, scroll down, shows 4 colors.......

    http://www.auto-interior.com/moldedvinyl.htm

But the oem I would have to trim to fit reg cab all weather flooring is still my preference. I prefer the oem texture to the pic above but just don't prefer the 385.00 price of the oem, lol. Keeping the WT liners for now.

Yeah, Canadian dealerships only want to sell you what's on the lot, nothing else is possible. Just tell them your going to see what the other dealership has in stock, they might make an effort.

I got that same bull from the dealer here in town (Jacksonville, NC) and had to go to another dealer (Wilmington, NC) to get my 13 DCSB 4x4 OR ordered. After I got it ordered, the dealer in J'ville called and said they could order it for me... too late guy!

Leer 100 RCC canopy, Relentless aluminum front bumper, car seats of my twin minions.
When I ordered mine in 2012 the option code was (FL). At that time it didn't list any restrictions, just a stand alone option. But my truck wasn't a TRD just the SR5.
