Mine does with same with brand new nitto terre grappler 265/65R17 wrapped around Konig Countersteer Type X. I'm wondering what the cause is too.

My duratracs shake just a tad on the highway every now and then, I'm sure its due to being slightly unbalanced but its not enough to bother me.

    Looks good!

guys I work at goodyear and balanced myself. All ended up at .00 - .00
But they needed a lot of weight. I heard something about procomp wheels not being hubcentric, which could cause this problem. Anyone else hear anything like this?

No they're not hubcentric according to their site, I installed the wheels with the stock rugged trails before the duratracs, so its not the tires that's giving the problem, so its not your wheels and tires, it most likely are the lugs, the ones I have are longer thread so the seat the wheels better, then rebalance then you should be OK.

yeah I thought I got the right lug nuts though. I heard of some hubcentric rings that are for lugcentric wheels. I might give that a try. What an experiment... Maybe ill try the lugs first!

As I was reading the first couple of posts, that's the same thing I was thinking... lug centric rims on a vehicle wanting hub centric, maybe with the wrong kind of lugs. This can cause major shaking.

Also be aware that the balancing machine has to be adapted to the rims, whether lug centric or hub centric. Having the machine rigged for hub centric with a lug centric rim will have bad results.

The final possibility for shaking wheels is defective tire(s), however this is a lot less likely than above.

Yeah that's what I've been thinking. I rebalanced today and found that it helped a lot. I tried to tighten the lugs more evenly. Now I have minimal shaking. Going to get the hub centric rings. Thanks for the help

5100's front and rear, front 2.5" rear 2" AAL, 18% tint front and rear, color matched grill. SCS wheels 275/70/17 BFG AT KO's. DTRL toggle switch.
You have to have hubcentric wheels or spacers to make your wheels hubcentric. My buddy put wheels on his truck had the same issue shake above 50-60 he got the rings and the shake is gone. I just put 275/70/17 BFG AT's on my truck with new wheels that were hubcentric and I have no shake. Just my .02.
