Ok I'm looking up lift kits for my truck. And I came across Zone offroad. I'm gonna be using my Tacoma on and off road. I would also like for the looks of it to be good. Either I'm thinking about getting it or I'm gonna go with tuff country.

That's the deal breaker. 6" lift spacers with OEM struts, and they claim factory ride? They call that a suspension lift? Save yourself the money and buy a proper set of coilovers.

So you would recommend Tuff Country?

No way...it's all strut spacers and AAL kits.

If you're going to spend anything over $500 on a lift, I'd go with an Old Man Emu lift. Comes out around $750. If you're pockets are a bit deeper, take a look at Fox, King, of Icon for coilovers/leaf packs.

I've dealt with zone off road in Canada. Believe it's same company as Ashe logo. Good to deal with:)

On my Tundra I used BDS Suspension Kits for my 6 inch lift paired with Icon coil overs. Every body that rode with me was amazed at how well and comfy the ride was. Be prepared to spend top $ for a good/proper 6 inch lift. I spent about $4700 in suspension alone on the Tundra

Any advice with pro-comp? Tacoma Lifted Package
Pro Comp 6 inch Lift Kit with Shocks
Pro Comp Xtreme Alloys Series 6089 - Chrome Finish
Pro Comp Xtreme All Terrain Radial Tires
    Smittybilt Billet Grille
    Smittybilt Sure Steps
    Magnaflow Stainless Steel Exhaust Tip
    Hypertech Speedometer/Odometer Calibration Device

I was looking at some of the stuff that comes with it and I could do without the wheels and tires.......

But I am looking for advice. If you would recommend this or not.

Very few will recommend a drop bracket lift, like the pro-comp.

As Traveler said, a good 3" lift is your best bet. And if $$ is tight OME is tough to beat.

Smitty built bars are just for show, they will not protect your truck in anyway. A good ARB(or similar style) bumper with a set of rocksliders are prefered by most members here.
I assume by the 6" lift, and cheap bars that this truck will likely be a pavement princess anyway.

Lastly, pro-comp tires are sub par.

Do some more homework, search and read more threads. No offence, but you obviously have a lot to learn.

I've seen the pro comp 6" lift offroad a LOT. Flex in the front sucks. (Kept his sway bar). Drop bracket is never ideal for offroad though. DB is for looks. (They look ugly IMO..)

He's taking it off to do LT. But it can go offroad. He complains the ride blows.

He bought the truck with that lift. Then he began to get into offroading, and realized it's really not an optimal suspension choice.

Thanks everybody for the advice. I will probably go with OME 3in lift. with some 33" tires. Will post pics of it as it gets done and I get back to the states.
