    Ebay.

Works great in city, not so great out of city. I hardly use the radio.

this is how I mod mines.
remove the base off of the Tc antenna by wiggling it out with some force. you can see how short the tread is.

cut the base off of the stock antenna. grind and sanded it down to where it could fit on the Tc antenna.

epoxy in place, wait 15-20 minutes and install it. no loss in reception. I'm not sure how it would fair up there in the mainland cause I am in an island.

Some have taken the ball off, cut and replaced the ball. I tried forever to get that damn thing off and only managed to destroy it, so I used a small rubber cap from a little Wilson I had laying around.

I also cut mines in half, but didn't like it because it would flap a lot whenever I drove the truck. so decided to take the GF's Tc antenna which she already replaced with a stubby, and mod it to fit the Taco base.

austinramsay- haha thanks man. I'm actually thinking about going medium on the satoshi, instead of having it deep dish. I'm not sure how'll that look though.

    Chrome don't get you home
If you have some 2 part epoxy, you can dip the tip in that, let the epoxy set up a bit and dip and spin, has to be done just right. If you have some black tint to add even better

I just put on the antenna x. Rubbery type stubby 13 or 14 inches

    http://www.antennax.com/p-4722-eurostyle-13-flexible-rubber-antenna.aspx

I have not used fm or am yet so I can't give you details, yet.

Don't do it. Your grill looks perfect as it is.
