How can you tell the difference in the correct stock springs for drivers side vs. the passenger side? I have a lean on the driver side and the dealer said that it is "acceptable".

But he also mentioned that the springs are side specific. I looked under mine and the obvious difference is that the driver spring has a white CD painted on it. The pass side has a yellow CD painted on it.

Does anyone know what the difference in white or yellow lettering is?

The 1st gen tacoma springs were side specific also. And I believe...the drivers side coil had an extra winding in it or higher weight spec.
