Sorry if this question was already asked, I wont be able to read all 10 pages of the thread till later today. But what kind of paint is recommended for doing this, I kinda wanna give to venture out from Plasti-dip and try my painting skills?

Any plastic adhering paint will work. I used a fluorescent green spray paint that builders use to mark the ground for laying pipe (no pun intended, lol).

What do you want to do? You'll have to remove the A/C panel and radio to pull that park out. Should just be a few bolts then pop off. The vents can be taken off from the backside of the panel by slightly lifting up on the 4 tabs that lock them in place.

Looking to repaint the trim pieces... as the previous owner removed the 4X4 dial, and scratched it all to hell. :jerkoff:

Hoping to do it tomorrow, on my day off..... :D

2 questions:: does one have to disconnect the battery to remove the cluster panel? and how does one remove the shifter trim?

Don't have to disco the battery. And for the the shifter trim, if you mean the chrome piece then you have to melt the tabs on the underside and then just glue it back on

Just in case anyone does what I did and possibly breaks one of the rings, I figured I would share the fact that the rings are available from the dealer for replacement. I was removing mine again yesterday along with other items to have them all color matched and broke the far right ring.
