I know there are threads on how to remove the gauge clusters on previous years...but it seems on 2012 they took away the screw on the top 2 plastic tabs holding in the cover over the guages. Any idea how to get them off? Must i use a flat head and pry them off? These are the tabs im talking about

Trying to gently pry it off but no luck..only thing im going is dinging it up..

Called local dealer and the tech recommended buying a panel removal kit

    noooo! do not pry!
push in the center part of those plugs they will drop right out and the panel will come free.

Yup I had the same issue. Just push the little center piece and it will pop out

Damn... that's nice. Those kind of clips are way easier than the screw head type.

    Too many to list now.
Yeah I wanna know too. It seems like once a month I'm tearing into something or other.
