Just wanted to see people opinions on two fog lamps.

    The PIAA H11 Plasma Ion Crystal Yellow (55 x 110 watt) $51.00
    vs
Nokya H11 Hyper Yellow Light Bulbs (55 watt? package shows 80 watts) $21.00

There is a large cost difference on these are the PIAA that much better.

    Going on a 2012.

Ive had Nokya ones before, yellow ones arent any brighter but their xenons are horrible. Dimmer than stock.
The PIAA ones are pretty good if you dont mind the price. Another brand I like is Luminics, theyre also pretty cheap.

I've had the Nokya ones before and really liked them. I've got PIAA's in my headlights and they're the best halogens I've had for headlights (can't speak for the fogs). If I hadn't gone with projectors for the fog lights, I'd definitely buy the Nokya bulbs again. With the light output I got out of the Nokya's, I couldn't see spending double on PIAA's, I don't see how they could be that much better.

OP you check out Narva at all? They are a high end German bulb supposedly much better then PIA. I have not had the opportunity to personally compare the Narva Rangepower 50's to a PIA bulb, but I have compared to SilverStar Ultra's and the Narva blows them away with light output.

My PIA's both blew out at the same time so I couldn't compare when I switched to Narva's.

    That was my feelings also.

Unless the piaa's are at least 25% yellower and 25% brighter it doesn't seem worth it.

So the fog bulb on the 2012 is a H11.

Is there a thread that shows the bulb type for other parts of the truck? Lic. Plate/dome/DLRL/ Ect.

I'm not familiar with the Nokya so I can't answer the poll, but I've never been a big fan of PIAA. They have a habit of overvoltaging the bulbs to increase the color temperature and brightness (the whole "the light of 100 watts from only 60 watts!" marketing), and the result is dramatically decreased life.

Also my dealer called PIAA today and the 13511 pack of H11 bulbs is not available in North America at this time.

I used to have the yellow Noykas. No complaints when I had them.

Individual dealers may have then currently.. But the distributors don't have any more.. Once current stock is depleted they may be months to get back into stock..
