I came across this item while looking for a catalytic convertor, (my CEL is coming on because of the catalytic convertor), and was curious if anyone else has tried it, or knows if it would work. Right now, just want to get rid of the light until I replace the catalytic convertor. Anyone have any ideas or thoughts about this CEL Eliminator?

I have the same problem as you, and instead of using that thing, just buy a spark plug anti-fouler from your local auto store. Its like $5 for the 18mm version which is what you need. You do have to drill it out to 1/2" though. Once you've done that, just screw it in to the exhaust and screw the o2 sensor into the anti-fouler. If your light stays off then you know it is your catalytic convertor. It worked for me and several other people on here.

I've also heard that you should only replace your cat with a OEM one, as the truck doesn't like aftermarkets unfortunately.

PM me if you have any questions

I got the spark plug anti fouler and installed it. Cleared my light and will see how this works. I want to get the catalytic convertor replaced and will soon. Until then, maybe this will keep the light in check. Thanks for the help.
