Bought a 2010 last night with 10K miles from a Mercedes-Benz dealer. When I tried the "AM/SAT" to see if the "SAT" portion, it stayed on AM. I am under the belief that all 2010s were satilite ready. The satelite antenna is on the roof, but I'm not getting a response. Could the antenna be disconnected from the radio or what? Please over look the misspelled words. My wife is an English instructor and she would s***. Thanks in advance for the help.

SAT-Ready does not mean the receiver is installed in the truck.

Sat ready means you can hook up a Sirius reciever to the radio and it will work. Look at this thread, it will explain everything you need to get satellite working. Really pretty easy if you have the am/sat button radio and if you have the antenna on the back it's already wired and you just need the connection wire plugged in like in my last post on that thread.
