yes they do if you put the time in. My DNX9990HD uses the lower dash location USB and factory AUX jack in. u just gotta hook them up.

also, to compare the two.... id pick the kenwood over the AVIC-Z140BH any day, for a number of reasons, but a main one being garmin. the 9990HD is booted up and running faster than some single dins ive had in the past, its up and running before im out of the garage... a quick unit among many of its other attributes.

OP the dash kit looks great! now those of us with the flat black dash surrounds, need these guys to come out with one in flat back....

Yeah, everything is factory except the head unit. But yes, I'm in the truck right now streaming music via Bluetooth and its on 6 and the volume is sufficient. 10-12 is almost TOO loud. I don't even wanna put it to 20-30. That'd definitely be loud.

if you are using metra part# tyto-01 for the jbl then this might be your problem try adjusting the blue knob to gain your volume back

Nope, there's a new antenna in the front. I kinda didn't like the thought of that but the new antenna is so little I hardly notice. The steering wheel controls work for everything but Bluetooth

I just dont like the thought of having to keep the shark fin if it will not function.

I personally like the shark fin antenna, so I don't mind keeping it. Just my personal preference though.

Yeah but i think it will be what keeps me from getting my truck into my garage once i lift it and new tires haha so its gotta work or its gotta go..... and i dunno what would happen if i took it off :D

Edit: I like em because then i know im driving behind a 2012, and it is kind of cool but because it also works.

the plugs will work for the 09 and 12 as long as neither of yall have jbl but i went from my 06 tacoma to a 12 tacoma and my 12 tacoma radio is a little bit longer than the 06 so i dont think it will fit correctly
