Not so good Vibrations!

This is my first Tacoma a 06 Prerunner V6 Auto, and on test drive i noticed the truck vibrating from around 30 mph to about 60 mph, dealer said it was the tires, well yea they were in bad shape so they put new tires on it before i got it.
The vibrations are still there although not as bad now, 0-30 mph runs smooth and beyond 60 mph its not as bad but what IS it?
I would have thought when the new tires were put on they would've been balanced correctly, maybe it needs an alignment? or could it be this drive-shaft problem i have been reading about on here?
I should add that i put it in Neutral and just coasted and still it vibrates at said speeds.
IF its a drive-shaft problem does anyone know how much it would cost to get fixed (ball park)
I am going to take to local Toyota dealer for a check on everything but i would like opinions from you good folks here

Could be your CVs.
Does the truck have any lift installed? If so, front diff drop kit may help.

Have the tires rebalanced with the proper adapter on the balancing machine.

Does it vibrate more in a certain area of the truck? Could be a damaged wheel or u-joints in the driveshaft, I think warped/damaged brake rotors/drums could even cause vibration. Either way I would take it back to the dealer.

 

I cant really tell if its more in a certain area, after reading some posts on here i wonder if its to do with the driveshaft angles?
Yes i was dubious about buying it, no warranty i cant take it back. Tacoma's dont tend to stay on the lot long here and i had been looking for a while, just hope its not gonna be an expensive fix.
Is there anything i can check to see a potential problem?

 

My 2008 Prerunner with stock steel wheels had a similar problem. Turns out I had a warped rim, probably from over heating the brakes towing a bobcat on a tandem trailer without trailer brakes. Balancing the wheels only helps so much if the rim isn't round. I dropped $600 on a set of black aluminum wheels at my tire store and she rides like a dream.

 

I'm gonna put my money on Wheel Bearings.

Can't hurt if they've never been done, depending on mileage, I guess.

 

If there is a damaged wheel, you could probably use your spare(as long as it is in good condition) to switch it with the others on the truck one at a time and driving it too see if one is bad.

 

Won't you normally get a grinding noise if it is the wheel bearings?? Just from my experience when mine went I had a horrible grinding sound but that was when they were literally falling out of the bearing housing...

 

Hey Steves104x4 are you gonna be in Vegas anytime soon? I'd be following your money! Yes its the hub bearing!
I took it to tire shop today and they showed me the movement in front drivers side wheel..very noticeable. They want $468 to fix it!!
My question is can i do this ? I have the read the bearing/CV thread on here and i am curious if i will need the shop press and any other tools that i dont have here. I dont wanna get in too far over me head, if you know what i mean.
Any ideas on price of parts needed for this?

Well i had the bearing replaced today and i still have the vibration, its not as bad andi have peace of mind that the wheel aint gonna just fall off but i want this problem gone. Next will be u-joint replacement,,man i HOPE that works.
