    Hello Forum,

Anyone here know what causes these stains? Better yet, how can I clean these off? These are the side window rubber mouldings on my '08 Tacoma DCSB. My wife has an '07 Saturn Outlook & it has similiar stains on the rubber mouldings also.

    Thanks:D

I think this is caused by the sun (just my opionion) but since I added a carport it has stayed off. Try Mr. Clean magic eraser. It worked on mine.

I used scotch brite on my window trim with very good results.
Make sure you tape off the glass and paint or the scotch brite will scratch them.
Spray on some type of protectant (I used silicone) and your good!

I noticed these on mine a couple of months ago. I just figure it is sun, rain, acid rain, pollution etc..
