I could use some help with this idea. What I would like to do is wire up bed lights and a 12v socket to the bed of my truck. What confuses me is whether or not its feasible to have a master switch in the cab of the truck. I would prefer to have 2 switches, one in the truck that controls all the power to the rear and then a single switch that is just on the bed lights line. I'm an electrical novice so advise would be appreciated. My thought was to use 8-10g wire to power a seperate fuse panel then run the power from the fuse box to each individual line but i don't know how or if it would even be possible to incorporate the in cab switch.
