cab mount chop question

    I need to do the CMC sooner than later, and access to a welder may be a problem. will there be any major issues if i cut the cab mount and not weld a plate back right away? My initial thought is no, as there is still a large portion left holding it together. but i want to make sure i will be alright temporarily having it cut only

    I used an angle grinder to cut and smooth mine and haven't put any blocker plates back on..

    Naw-Easier to clean...No tire damage. No sagging/obvious deformation or noises...

    yeah just make sure u grind the edges smooth. Thats the only thing that could cause a potential problem
