Some of you (none of you) may remember that I took my truck apart to dynamat it. That was last year (had a 2010). Well, I just bought a 2012. 4 days into having it...here it is.

Going to dynamat, MLV, Foam, etc. Just thought it would be a cool thread to watch me destroy a perfectly good truck. :)

Does the Dynamat make that much of a difference? Is it for general road noise dampening or for a system?

First: Thanks for putting the pic in the thread. Appartently I am smart enough to take apart a Tacoma...but not put a picture up. How'd you do that magic?

My last truck I dynamatted every square inch of the inside. Huge difference. I realize now that it was overkill. The same result can be achieved with much less dynamat.

The MLV barrier (I hear) makes a huge difference (more so than dynamat alone).
