TPMS

Hello, I've got the new 2013 Tacoma Prerunner and switched tires and wheels with a 2011 and now the TPMS won't read the sensors. Any way I can get around having to get a tire dealer to dismount each wheel and individually pulling the sensor codes from each wheel? Is there a way to 'trick' the onboard computer so the light just shuts off or reads the 2011 sensors? Thanks.

You'll have to dismount the tires to get the individual S/Ns

^^^

and to your other question OP, yes there are ways to trick the sensors. some members on here have made PVC canisters which they will place all the sensors in and pressurize it, then leave the entire container in the truck somewhere. . . another one ive seen was where a guy put them all in a small lawnmower tire, pressurized it and mounted it underneath the truck. . . but as delmarva said, you have to go get your sensors first.
