I have an 08 Taco PreRunner V6 SR5 that has in one day gone from clean under body to trans fluid leaking from somewhere. I pull a trailer around 1500 lbs 2-3 times per week. Will this cause this problem? Any suggestions?

The trailer pulling does load the transmission more, but it will not cause it to leak. Seals and gaskets wear and dry out over time.

Clean the underside of the truck then go for a short ride. Then climb under and look for the source of the leak. Remember the wind blows around under the truck and it could mask the actual leak. Common areas are the front input shaft or tail shaft seals or the pan gasket.

    what is "break fluid"?

    Did you mean brake fluid?

    What is a "botten"?

    Did you mean bottom?

Does anyone know how to spell these days?

I actually cleaned the pan and found that the fluid was making it's way through the bolts. I torqued them and now the problem has stopped with 500 miles of driving today.
