pics of ur flat black wheels??

im wanting to get some flat black wheels i think, if u have any post some pics and what kind? im lookin at either 17s or 18s

 

Mine are satin, not flat. But its the next step from flat, pretty close

 

here is a 30% gloss Powder coat (matte)

 

do they come like that in some models or did you get them powder coated?

I wanted to do this, but could not "fix something that's not broken". I decided to wait until there were issues with the factory finish.

im wanting wheels other then stock though..

 

On those OEM (oem paint) ones of mine just one tire change screwed up the finish.

x2. Build thread, wheels have 20% gloss which is considered matte. I use stock FJ 16 silvers and bought the TT center caps and it matches almost perfectly.

How durable has this been? What prep was needed?

 

The powder coater I went to said 30% is the least amount they would do because anything less looses its durability. They seemed like a pretty good shop and that came from the guy that did the powder him self. Now that they have been on the truck for awhile they now look flat black.
