Hey fellas. have not been on here in a while. Changed jobs and went into the sign/decal shirts business and have been slammed. Just getting into playing around with my taco some more. Last night i installed an led bed light system. the breakdown on it is this.

I bought an led driving light kit from advanced for 20 bucks. I took the led lights which have 8 lights in each. they measure about 3/4 thick x5" wide. i mounted them into the cubby holes on the sides. ran wires into cab. my truck does not have power mirrors so the switch is mounted in the center of that block. it has an led to let you know when on. Very happy with the result, I did not have time to post pics tonight but will this weekend.

i will also be installing a huge amount of strobes next week. Looks like around 12 total. on the corners and in the grille. I am waiting on all the parts to come in. I will show detailed pics on where i am putting them in the lights because there is not a lot of install info on the net. also i would advise to check your local laws before doing this. Luckily my friend is the police chief where i live so he got me in the right direction of being legal. I am in GA and own a sign company. I do a ton of installs on raodways etc. as long as you apply with the state and get a permit, you can run certain lights at certain times. mine will be all clear. So i am good to go. Will update the thread later!!!

Pics. These lights came with an adhesive tape to mount and I did not like it. So I used some jb weld and added some bolts

Well, I hit a snag. Got my strobes ready to install and the wiring kit was wrong. The wires were like 4' long. Waiting on company to respond

    Because I can!

Also, I own a sign company and do contract work for county signs and install them on the roadway. Want to be visible while working. Its actually required in some areas

Ok I got the strobes in but it's too dark to take good pics. I went with a cheaper set and they are ok, but I can already tell I will be upgrading them. My control box is mounted to the left side o the little cubby in front of gear shifter. There are one in each head light and one in each tail light for now. The set that will be goo in next will replace the current and add one in each fog and 2 under tailgate for 8 total! Will snap pics tomorrow in daylight!!
