So in January I will be getting a 2013 Tacoma and I am already decided on the off road package but i keep looking at the Entune system and think is it worth it to get an auto just to have it or not so any suggestions

Sweet man, if you have any more questions you can definitely ask around, (don't mind any jerks) also, just since I noticed you're new on TW I thought I would point out that most questions anyone ever has have already been asked several times since it is a very specific forum to one vehicle for the most part so if you look through the FAQ and use the search bar enough you should have a nearly endless supply of answers to whatever may pop up! Welcome to TW man and good luck finding the right truck!

If you have a smart phone, skip the entune. It is free for three years and then you have to pay for it after that. If you have an iPhone, the entune is almost useless, as it has to be connected. I had a 2012 Camry with the entune, and I didn't use it because it was easier to use Bluetooth. The navigation is nice, but you can save alot of money and go aftermarket for that...or if you have an iPhone, you can use the turn by turn to stream into the Bluetooth and its just as good, if not better...

How much is the entune supposed to cost after the 3 years?
