I am trying to learn more about my truck and I'm sure this is discussed somewhere already. I am just tired of searching.

I had an 09 PreRunner. It was a base model 4 door. I was getting really good mileage. Upwards to 375 miles per tank on good fills. I now have an 11 TRD Off Road. I am lucky to get 325 miles per tank. Is this strictly because of tires or are there other factors causing such a large difference in mileage. My driving habits are not exotic and haven't changed.

Tires. Additional drive train components (4x4). They all add weight and rolling resistance.

I get 275 if I'm lucky how are you getting such good mileage?
