I have a 06 Prerunner Access cab and i'm wanting to put a soft tonneau cover on the bed. Some of my tools are slightly higher than the bed rails , maybe 1.5-2" or so, i have seen some tonneau's that you can "adjust" the cover to sit low or high somewhat, although i dont remember what they were.
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks

I've never heard of a tonneau that you could adjust height. Most clamp to the undersides of your bed rails. Some of them fold up ... Leaving part of the truck open.

What kind of tools do you have? Have you thought about a toolbox that sits on the rails? I'm pretty sure they can 'fit' a tonneau around the tool box.

The Extang Trifecta kind of has a dome in the middle for rain to run off. It might give you an inch or so?. If not it is super easy to fold back or take off.

Take a look at my gallery, I just uploaded a few pictures of extang full tilt on my '12 DC short bed; busy so didn't have time to play around with uploading links to this post.
Great, versatile soft top. It has 2 center bows that arch up, giving extra height in the center. The bows also have a low and high mounting position, which would raise it a little more (maybe 1/3- 1/2" or so). Unsnaps and rolls up easily, hinged and lifts easily, or the whole thing lifts off and removes in 30 seconds.
Listed at about $500; not too difficult to get for around $350 or so if you shop around.
