This is the first truck I am ever buying. I am also buying it in full. Is there anything worth buying from them or is it all crap?

You may want to give us more info than that.

Are you buying new or used?
Is there a particular dealer you're buying from?
What years of truck were you looking at?

The more information you can give us makes it easier for us to possibly answer your question. Good luck with the purchase.

I would turn down all the "free service" bs. Toyotacare...what a joke.
unless you like dipshits "not" doing the free Toyotacare service when you take it in.
Test drive it more than the 2 miles down the street the salesman will try to take you on.
Get it up to highway speeds and feel for any vibrations or shudders. Hell feel for vibrations while braking too.
just make sure your 100% sure about the truck because it will be a pain in the rear to get anything done after the fact.

In my opinion you should just look elsewhere for a truck.
Toyota is really starting to leave a bad taste in my mouth personally.
my 2012 4 banger gets shittier gas mileage than the new full size dodge ram, just saying- toyota is screwing us with these ineffiecient shitty engines.
& I dont want to here about these guys with the Double Cab V6's getting over 20mpg-BULLSHIT! I owned a 2007 trd offroad DC so i know their full of it 1st hand. now the reg cab/access cab ...maybe.
a 4cyl that barely gets 20mpg? come on man!

you are driving a truck that is way underpowered. The double cab was designed for the 6cy...not a 4. on average I get 18mpg.

If you think you want the warranty, you can definitely talk them down on it. Possibly half of what they want it for.

    ill tell you something..
i have a 2009 access cab i bought brand new. my truck is my utility vehicle i use it to haul my dirt bike and go in the snow or trips to the lumber yard. i have only 26,000 miles on my truck and i have had it since feb of 2009.
i think i paid something like 32,000 for it. it's a TRD off road with every option.
i finished out my 3 year lease and bought the truck because i knew it was worth way too much to give it back to the dealer.
in my life i have never seen a any vehicle i have owned hold its value as much as this one. the bank that financed me after my lease valued the truck at 28,000 a friend of mine is a wholesaler and has an 08 for sale pretty much a base model that went for 26,000 so based on that i would put my truck around the 28-29k range.
if these trucks were so bad why then will people pay that much for a used truck?
frankly, based on other cars i have bought over the years to have lost only 4-5k in equity on any vehicle is awesome in my book. i could give a crap what MPG i get. if you cant afford the fuel, then don't drive!
my tacoma gets about 24-26 mpg i am pretty sure on the highway while hauling my bike (i never checked it) i would say thats pretty dang good for a v6 truck.
my 2012 Acura TL gets about 28mpg my 2012 corvette Z06 gets about 30mpg all things considered i think the fuel economy is reasonable

It's mostly all crap, but if you are paying in full tell them to give you a hefty discount or you are walking, it will work. True story.

Gap insurance. If you're not putting anything down make sure you get the gap insurance.

The extended warranty isn't a bad deal if you can talk them down a few hundred bucks. You can always buy it later if you want, and shop around for a good price.

The rest is... well, I don't consider it that important.

OP also dont agree with what % they offer you on financing. Tell them you talked to your credit union before you came out and they offered you "this number that was lower". Also dont tell them what kind of monthly payment you want because they will use that to thier advantage to give you a higher interest rate. When they ask, and they will, just say "the monthly payment doesnt matter as long as I get the truck for the right price and a good intrest rate".

EDIT: re read your post and you said you're paying in full. Congrats!

    Is your company hiring?

Just for reference, The 2013 Ram(No more "Dodge" with regards to the trucks) regular cab 4x2 V6 with the 8 speed automatic gets an EPA rating of 17 city and 25 hwy. I don't know how the 4 cylinder Tacomas get but I average 16mpg with my DCLB with the 4.0. Pretty much all city driving.

But this thread isn't about fuel mileage and the decline of quality control in all vehicles manufactured today. OP, please provide us with some more info so one of us or all can provide some helpful insight.

I think the OP said he is paying in full.
I pass on everything....you can decide before the 3/36 is up if you want to buy the Toyota Platinum warranty.
You can buy it from any dealer & there a many who sell it for half the cost of the selling dealer. Many do not buy it at all since the driveline is 6/60.
Buy it & drive it!! Congrats!

watch out for the extended warranty. check your insurance company first i have geico and they give you a 100k warranty on any brand new vehicle it might cost you like 7 dollars a month or something but that is way less than the warranty through toyota. also you cant get rid of toyota care it comes with the truck. its your option if you use it or not. i had one of those stealership issues on my first service but took it to the service manager and toyota and now they pretty much do what ever i want when i go in.

My average is just a tad under 20. I average 17 pulling a 15 ft double axle trailer for 300 miles. Not bad for a V6.

like someone just said - this is not a mpg thread but...
    congrats on braking 20mpg once!
on a highway roadtrip right? congrats.
come talk to me when you get 20mpg in the city.
I know your not pushing 380-400per tank in that v6 regularly so dont even try it buddy.
