Last week I was pulling into the parking garage at work and some barney started backing up so I honked my horn. After I took my hand off the horn the horn kept blaring, all the way up through the garage. i looked ridiculous. if I lightly applied pressure to the horn it stopped, but as soon as I took my hand off again it started blaring. Finally when I parked, I smacked the horn pretty hard and it stopped. Pretty ridiculous for a truck thats only 3 years old but It hasn't happened since. It does seem like now that only with very light pressure the horn goes off now which is annoying, and I'm def don't want to be driving down the street with my horn blaring again. Anyone else have this problem? My 3 year warranty ends this week (I think the horn would only be under that one) and wasn't able to get an appt at the dealer until december. Whenever i go to the dealer it entails driving an hour each way and wasting my day off which I would like to avoid especially if its something minor that the will charge me a bunch just to look at. Suggestions? Thanks

Honk a lot in the next week. If it sticks drive to the dealer with it blaring. I would think that is the only way to get the deal to do it on their dime.

I had that happen on a Pontiac sun bird at 2 am. I just ripped out the center of the steering wheel and the wires and didn't have any more problems. But I also did not have a horn.
