Do the Dakar leafs still squeak?

    12 Offroad Double Cab
    ARE Zseries cap, Thule rack, Icon 2.5" Coilovers, Icon 2" rears, 1.5" Wheelers Progressive AAL, FJ rims in silver, BAMF sliders.
    I'm thinking abt possibly getting a pair and I've seen older threads but nothing newer abt them squeaking. I'm also considering just biting the bullet and having Alcan make me a custom leaf pack.

    mine only squeak when i get sand in them. a quick blast of water and they are good to go

    Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
    You have to get new bushings for one end. If you reuse the old bushings, yes, they squeak.

    Love my dakars. They squeezed at first, but after I removed one of the overload leafs and sprayed some fluid, they've stopped squeaking. Two overloads is overkill. Seems like its just for heighth. Anyways, I've read complaints of alcan users have their leafs go flat in a short span. But I can't personally comment on them since I've never used them.
