i can only see the head light set of 4 fuses. but nothing on the diagram located on the inside of the fuse box lid indicates tail lights.

can anybody point to how to locate the fuses that control tail lights?

    thanks

If you are referring to the tail lights for the truck, and not the trailer, its the illumination fuse I believe its called. Same fuse powers your guage backlighting. Its under the steering wheel behind the little cubby bin. Ask me how I know.

yes, for the truck. so are you saying it is not in the regular fuse box that's under the hood on the driver's side?

basically, my tail lights and my stop light is out. the rear blinkers are fine on both sides. i also have a set of 4 wires (2 black and 2 red) that power the stop light on my camper as well as a little light inside the camper (2 for each, i guess). those are also out, i tried with the multimeter.

thanks, i still can't figure which are the tail lights on the truck -- the ones that are on when you drive at night. i only see trailer tail, which i assume is for the trailer. i need just the regular truck tail lights.

It's 2:00 AM and I'm pulled over on the side of the road trying to figure this one out. And of course I think "google search" instead of "open the damned glove box and look at the owner's manual." :D

Glad TW is here for me :) yay!

lucky it was a 6 speed. if it was an auto, the transmission would be locked in park. Same fuse is part of that safety system.
