Ladies and Gentlemen, this is my first post even though I have been trolling the forum since 2010. I apologize in advance if this isn't in the right spot but here goes anyway. I put SCS F5's with 265/75/16 BFG AT's on my stock 2010 DCSB 4WD last night and the tires are doing some pretty good rubbing upon turning. I was hoping that someone could inform me on the best and/or cheapest method to rectify the situation? Thanks for the help.
I look forward to being a bit more active in the forum. Thanks again.

What is the back spacing on the wheels? Are you lifted?

What are they rubbing on? Sounds like you ether need wheel spacers or a lift.

The tires are rubbing on the plastic in the rear of the well. Mostly the black flimsy plastic but some inside/lower white fender plastic. I hope that makes sense. It is not lifted and no spacers. Thanks for the replies.

    Hey Andy

The plastic liner rubbing you are experiencing is typical when you upsize in tire height. Don't be too alarm. Like most owners here, you'll have to look at where its rubbing and do a little cutting to achieve the needed clearance. It's a pretty straight forward job. Let me know if you need anything else.

Interesting, Anyone know why are there so many threads on this site saying that 265/75 size tires are the biggest you can go on stock rims without rubbing?

That doesn't appear to be the case here. I'm wandering because I was going to replace my 265/70 stock tires with 265/75. I thought the rubbing wouldn't be an issue due to all the threads on this site, but now I'm not sure. Was also worried about ABS and Traction Control coming on pre-maturely.

Aldarnell, do you notice any issues with your ABS or Traction Control after switching from 265/70 to 265/75 on stock rims? The manual seems to imply that these systems are tuned to your stock tire size and could be affected by changing and keeping the same rims.

As far as I know there has been no issue of tpms or traction control. Then again, I have only driven the truck 5 or so times since I put the wheels and tires on. (I was in Phoenix for the holiday) I did some cutting today with a dremel and all seems well but I am now missing one of the plastic rivets that hold the splash guard in place. Once that is replaced and I am driving to and from work all this week I will let y'all know if anything crazy happens. Thanks for all of the help everyone.

I am not using stock wheels. I have the SCS 16's. I am doing a lot more trimming than I though I would have to do. Not that big of a deal to me. Once I finally don't hear any more rubbing, I will take photos of the inside of my fenders for reference for anyone who is planning on getting the same size BFG AT's. Again, thanks for the assistance everyone.
