hmmm. during the winter's we dont wash it. the water tends to freeze the door seals since up here in ND, it usually stays below freezing from november to march.

havent washed the legacy since i bought it except the front end of bugs, but its silver so meh. doesnt look that much different dirty than clean. during the spring/summer/fall the winds up here pretty much blow dust/dirt back onto the car that you have a film by the next day.

When I get it dirty I like to keep it that way for a while but I usually wash it at least once a month. Now with it getting colder I may only wash 2-3 times until it warms up again in April.

Not worth it to wash mine. I have a 120 mile daily commute to and from work, truck is only 11 months old and already has 19k miles worth of rock chips on it.

Mine gets washed weekly. I wax it every other week and the in between weeks I use the Meguires spray wax stuff. I always thought I was obsessed and my wife always made fun of me. I read this and told her I am not crazy based on a lot of your responses... She still thinks I am nuts even though her 4Runner gets the same treatment and she loves it. Whatever, she does the cooking, cleaning, laundry, etc. so it's a pretty damn good trade off as far as I am concerned.

I go to the laser wash. Does a good job if my truck doesnt have a lot of mud on it. Get the wash, wax, rain x treatment, spot free rinse and jet blowers to dry.

I wax every 4-6 months depending on what wax/sealant I use. Waxing weekly is a waste, unless you use low quality wax.
