So the new front end grills bother me somewhat . Replacing it with grillcraft looks like a pain in the ass.

Has anyone painted their plastic grill to match the color of their truck? If so post some pictures. Im wondering how it would look gloss black to match my Black Sand Pearl.

order a colormatched from Camel Back, then sell your chrome one. The difference will probably be the same as you would spend on supplies to DIY.

Yes, the center section is black. I just replaced the charcoal base grill on my 2012 with a color dealer replacement, wasn't cheap though

Didn't paint mine but I did do a swap from chrome to painted from Camelback Toyota. The whole thing is easy to remove (there are directions and pictures on here) and the center section can be separated fairly easily. I would separate the two for painting. If you do that, seeing that your location shows CT, it would be best to remove the grill then place it in your house to warm up before removing the center section. The center section is held in place with plastic tabs and the warmer the plastic is, the less likely you will be to break them.

Going to take some before and after pictures b.c i can not find any 2012 or 2013 painted to match truck color. Ordered paint yesterday so hopefully friday or sat it will be here

Not mine but another member on the board. Probably wouldn't look bad in black.

To much white. Needs the contrast of the black center on the grill. IMO

I think that White Tacoma grill looks great on the white truck. To each his own.

At first glance I thought that white grille was for a Highlander or Rav 4. I had to do a double take. It's definitely unique but not my cup of tea.
