I don't think it's that good of a deal. You should be able to get at least another $1k off of your price. If it's exactly what you want, I'd offer $31k at the most and walk or hold out. They will most likely cave and turn you around, or you should be able to get it somewhere else for that price.

I just got the exact same truck three weeks ago also in nautical blue (ordered two months ago). Plus front skid plate, all weather flooring, all weather mats, and bed mat. My Sticker with the extras was just a little over $33k, and I ended up getting it for $30,800 before TTL and any other fees.

My Advice: Look up the closest 4 or 5 dealers and a phone number for them. Call and ask for their sales dept, then tell the sales guy exactly what you want down to the color/options and ask for their best quote. Within an hour or so, you will have them all working for you, calling back and fourth, and giving you close to their best quote all from the comfort of your living room. There's no games this way, and you have all the control.

    Good Luck!

For 31999 he said he'd pay ttl and throw in a bed extender.. Should i aim for just the warranty? Or move a head with ttl and bed extender? What's the cost of the extended warranty?

What is this Costco discount? You just have to be a Costco member?

Basically you paid invoice or slightly under.

I just walked in and told them to give me the truck at invoice, but then they didn't offer any discounts.

That seems counter intuitive for the dealer to cover tax and give you a credit for a part.

Invoice on your truck is 29k + 3k in tax... Back at square one?

I have never ever seen someone OFFER ttl... I would probably just jump on it, you are not going to get a better deal, since its going to be slightly under invoice overall.

Personally I would get entune, not worth dealing with aftermarket non-integrated stereo stuff on a truck you are already paying 30k for.

He didn't up front offer it, i said if I'm going to pay 31999 i wanted either them to pay ttl and toss in the bed extender he accepted, so basically the price out the door if he takes of 1k from for ttl would be 30999..

How should i go about them paying TTL? He said there are a few ways 1)we subtract the ttl from the total cost and i pay it on my own or 2) they send a check with the title. I think it would be better to deduct it from the total, but what do you guys think? This is my first time buying a new vehicle id you didn't notice and before i forget thanks everyone already for the inputs.

I think you should ask him what invoice is on the truck and start from there. If invoice is 29k not sure what your tax rate is in your state, in mine it's 9.8%, that's almost 3k.

I would deduct it off total cost that way your financing less?

I already bought the truck. Doubt I can do this after the fact. But dealer should have mentioned?

Invoice is not MSRP, usually 2 - 3k below, which is around what you should be able to get the truck at before TTL. I got mine at $300 under invoice.

The dealer paying the TTL being a good deal or not is all relevant to how much TTL would cost you in South Dakota? If you have little to no tax on vehicles there, then it's not a good deal. If you would be paying $2k - $3k in taxes, then it's probably a decent deal.
