    Hi Everyone,

    Here's the problem:

Oil change, air filter, and front headlamp--no problem.

I was attempting to replace the spark plugs, and halfway into removing the air-cleaner from on top of the engine (since it covers the plugs) decided to stop and wait for the weekend. I though I had plugged everything back in but when I started the car up, the "Check Engine Light" came on (not the Maint Req'd light). I drove for about 10 miles, and checked back under the hood when I got home, and noticed this plug was disconnected, so I snapped it back and the light was still on, even after driving for a few miles. I've double check my connections again, and everything seemed in order, so I unplugged and replugged the battery to reset the CEL. The truch runs perfect as it did when the plug was detached.

So, did I ruin something? Do I need to get the engine code for the CEL?

    Any thoughts?

    JOHN

Hitch and wiring, aux back-up light, rear strobe lights, radio and underseat sub.
IIRC, that's the exhaust air injection pump. No damage from running with that disconnected. It will affect you emissions, and mileage with the CEL on. Won't pass an emission test until all of the monitors are run again. You'll be fine.
