So i've noticed that my 2011 TRD Sport qualifies for the TSB Leaf Spring Replacement. Carrying my ATV around during hunting season i've noticed it almost bottoms out over slight bumps on the hwy and sags quite a bit.
I went to my dealership here in Winnipeg, MB (Canada) and my dealer tells me that the TSB only applies to US vehicles. I laughed because my truck actually comes from the US and I just imported it into Canada last year. He then went on to say that he can't support vehicles from the US. I thought that warranties and such are transferrable across the border?

The dealer said he can't even recognize my VIN here and that chances are the trucks in US and Canada are completely different, wtf??

    What should I do?:)

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Call Toyota Corporate. They are the only ones that can answer the warranty/TSB question.

For the most part, the trucks are 99.9% identical. The reason the TSB doesn't apply to Canadian trucks is because yours comes with the TSB leaf pack already.

I can't see why they wouldn't cover it. I talked to the service manager again and he said he would look into it, if it's denied at his level I most definetely will be calling Toyota Canada. My truck is still on warranty and it clearly needs the updated springs.
