I don't give a shit what you think about my truck, my point was just that you've got this mentality that 'bigger is better', yet you still picked one of the smallest trucks on the market. Why don't you go on a diesel forum and tell all of them that your 4.0 taco can do big boy work. Point is, there's always something bigger and better.

only poor people would complain about gas. the 2.7L only gets like 2mpg better than the 4.0L in real world driving so if that is a big deal then you are definitely poor.

and he tries to justify it by comparing a 4.0 truck loaded with people and cargo to his that is empty. And that 4.0 truck wasn't breaking a sweat but his had to be floored to keep up.

what lies? look at the MPG threads. V6 and 4cycl aren't that big of a difference in mileage. Only a poor person would penny pinch over that.

Donahoes are same as Icons and they're nice. I had mine rebuilt by Icon. I had OME Dakar springs but I sold them. I didn't like how they ride and the TSB springs gives me the height and ride I'm looking for. I'm not trying to over compensate because I don't have a poor truck like yours.

I'm not going to lie. Whenever I see a 4cyl prerunner or 4x4 on the road, I kind of laugh at that silly person for buying a combination like that.

Who races a tacoma? Unless you need the towing capacity, the 4 banger does everything the V6 does, albiet it take him 2 seconds longer to get up to speed on the freeway. But he doesn't have to stop as often to get gas, so he probably still gets to his destination sooner.

Cool badge, but I prefer the de-badged look personally.

Why, because your 4.0 puts out way more power, right? And that's all that matters, right? So I bet the guys in the big powerstrokes, cummins, and duramax 4x4s laugh and you with your wimpy 4.0 '4x4'.
