is there that big of a stock driveline vibe issue? I thought most were with lifts, then corrected accordingly by good products from our site vendors.
I personally don't have any issues with my stock 06. My brakes squeak a little, but maybe aftermarket pads are the way to go? Thats a cheap fix.

What makes you think Toyota will give two shits about posts on their facebook wall? If you want results, go stand in front of someone that works for Toyota with "a few thousand" people. Personally, I haven't heard of anyone having driveline vibrations that would make them do anything except complain about it for a couple minutes (excluding lifted tacos).

Yes, there is a pretty big issue with vibration in the driveline. If you dont have it, count yourself lucky...

I heard it here first.... I've talked to hundreds of Tacoma owners on this site, and you are the first with a stock Taco to talk about it. Mind describing what you are experiencing?

Cool man, then it sounds like you dont have any vibrations and wont have to worry about it.

Please allow me to tell you why they will give two shits about it. They will because a lot of people visit the page and they wont want other customers seeing that a few thousand people post the problems they are having with their tacoma.

A lot of us have horrible vibration, bone stock.

First, I don't use Facebook, but I highly doubt Toyota lets anybody post anything they want on their wall, could be wrong.

Second, I'd be interested to hear from other people with the same problem, make a poll maybe?

What kind of troubleshooting have you done? Is your carrier bearing loose or something? Maybe your zerks weren't greased from the factory? Loose u-joints?

I had a fried that had a Taco about a 2009 Prerunner TRD and he loved the truck he also had the vibration. He is the reason I got my truck. So when I purchased mine I also noticed the vibration. I thought it was annoying as hell but my friends truck did it so I tried to ignore it. I have posted this before but after my lift I expected the vibration to get worse but to my surprise it was gone. I immediately noticed that it was gone when I did the test drive after I installed my lift. I dropped the rear axle to install the AAL maybe something about realigning my rear axle corrected the vibe or the change in drive shaft angle fixed it. :notsure: As for brakes I have not noticed any issues.

Most companies will let you post, and will have a social media customer service rep reply and tell you to call a number and try to placate you. If you keep making noise they will regularly block you from the site.

I would be interested to hear about any Toyota efforts or troublshooting done.

Reading these makes me think its a 2012 only problem, so what did they change about the driveline for 2012?

I'll ask again for what you have done to troubleshoot or have you had it into the dealership to have them look at it?

Maybe try a carrier bearing from a different model year?

there was a tsb for earlier tacoma models, but some say that didnt work. that supposed tsb is built into the 2011 2012 and 2013 models. Yes, ive been round and round with the dealership and toyota.

TSB are not inherently built into the next model year, IE 2013 Tacoma's with 3 leaf packs..

You say "round and round" but you give no explanation to what you or Toyota have done.... Trying to help, but your lack of information is making that very difficult.
